Better Late Than Not At All

Well I am SOOOOOOO sorry for not posting for so long, life has just been to busy. As a fast recap :
We are in the process of buying our first home YEAH !!!!!! What an experiance that has been. Very nerve racking in deed.
Christmas has been wonderful, I love our growing family. I love how big the kids are getting and how they are grasping onto every concept. I am truely in the happiest time of my life so far, I love watching Mike and the kids playing and teaching the kids new things - lately he's been teaching M1 and M2 the proper way of packing their toys. So that's their new trick is packing every toy they have.

In October we had a VERY bad experiance. Rusty stood up and supported his weight on the glass of the fireplace. He burned both of his hands very very badly. He had 3rd degree burns on 90% of his right hand palms and fingers. His left hand wasn't as much but still badly burned. I rushed him to Primary Childrens, I was very blessed that my mom was working at that time because she was able to have somebody take her shift and come down to help us. Mike met us at the hospital and gave Rusty a blessing. After the Dr. looked at his hands they sent us to the U of U burn unit, they had the head honcho director came and looked at Rusty, cut the blisters that had formed to see the severity while I was having to hold Rusty down. This was SOOO hard for me, not only this day but after this I had to change Rusty's bandages 3x's daily and stratch his hands which was extremely painful for the little man. It was a really hard experiance for us all emotional as well as a wonderful teaching oppertunity for the other kids. The teaching began with the blessing. Rusty's burns were bad enough that we went in to have his pre- op appointment to have both hands have skin grafts. When we went in to the appt. the Dr. said that the burns were "looking like they might be thinking about turning a cornor" and they wanted to wait for a few days. When we went back the Head Honcho came in again and said " this isn't right" WHAT you can't say that are you kidding me, I bet you could only imagine what was going through my mind. "His burns are healed !!!" Huh ?????? Rusty's burns were totally healed - BLESSINGS WORK THE GOSPEL IS AMAZING !!!!!!! Now he has a pressure glove for his right hand to help control the scaring and I stretch his hands about 3-5 times a day for about 10 minutes each hand. He is doing wonderfully.
We are so grateful for the gospel and the power of healing and love.
The babies are now 16 months old and I don't know how that happened. They are crawling all over.
As we are buying our home we are going to have a shift in jobs. Obviously I am not doing a sufficient job in keeping up our blog. Mike will be doing weekly updates ( while on his way to work) while I will be doing some as well the main responsibility will be his :) Well we'll see he might just help me and remind me to do it more often !!
We are very blessed to have friends and family like you who support us and THAT is my New Years Resolution to keep up our blog better so we may keep in touch. Because I love to read yours.

oh by the way pictures and more surprises to come !!!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTDAY ABBEY AND RUSTY !!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's not even 5am and I am awake and can't sleep, so I thought I'd make an update. I feel silly saying the over used excuse that life is just to busy to make post more often, but with an almost 4 kids the oldest not even four and 1 year old twins being the youngest. ..... it is just to busy to spend time to blog - maybe I can try to get in a weekly post on sundays. If you don't believe me come spend a day with us - YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!

This past month has been good, we are starting to actually settle into a routine in our weird little set-up, but as right now things are ok.

Max starts preschool today, I am really excited for him hw going to have a great time and maybe, just maybe he'll start to take naps again on the days he goes to school. He's pretty much grown out of the nap stage and it's been really hard for me to realize that this is normal and just part of growing up.

Michaellla is still our little mommy more than ever. I wish I was able to have her help more but now with Max back in school I think it might be a little easier. She has been potty training lately and is doing a really good job! We are having the occassional accidents still but she is doing really well.

ABBEY AND RUSTY ARE 1 HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??????

1 year ago today Mike and I we just getting back to out room after recovering from surgery and spending time with our little babies together. For the full story please read http://wynderfamily.blogspot.com/2008/09/its-about-time.html . As I just re read this I am bawling like a baby. My babies are so healthy and strong, and I was SO tired while writing that. My life has never been busier or better. The babies are crawling now and they go EVERYWHERE!!! I am So glad they are crwling and growing and developing, but I really think the fun is about to begin. This last year has been really easy everything I do, I do twice. But now I think things are going to get even busier. it will be much harder to get anything done because I will be taking care of and trying to wrangle my kiddios and making sure they aren't getting into trouble. I am SO blessed for my little family and can't believe we are here today. I am so greatful to my Heavenly Father for my healthy family. Expecially my healthy babies. I just can't believe how big they are and how everything is so wonderful right now. I'll post some pictures of the party (tomorrow ) and a few throughout the last year - that's a blog entirely of it's own.
Here's to the Past , Present and the Future !!!

STILL HERE !!!!! WE ARE ALIVE !!!!!

Ok so first let me explaine why I am updating our blog at 3:30 am. I'm sick and can't sleep weird I know but what ever. I wish I were asleep but I'm here instead.
So in the past 3 months that I haven't bolgged we've moved to Saratoga Springs. We are almost totally unpacked just some things we usually don't use to unpack and someday that will be done, someday.
Abbey and Rusty are sitting up by themselves and almost crawling. They are to the point that you have to deal with in twins where they are taking wach other's toys away, and bottles and anything and everything the other one has. I can't believe they are almost 1 already, it makes me so sad how fast time flies by.
Max and Michaella are doing well they love playing outside in our "big backyard" as Max always says. It's a little hard because our neighborhood has somewhat of a community backyard and everybodies kids go from one house to the next so going from a fully fenced in backyard to this is different and they really like to push their limits - considering there aren't any fences and very few tree lines there are only "invisable limits"
A month back we went to visit our good friends Natalie and Jeremy Andrews and their kids in Cedar City. That was such a fun trip except Max got a bit of the stomach flu on the way down - not to fun there but it we had such a great time. Everyday Max and Michaella are asking when we get to see Dax and Riley

This is the day we were moving. I have a double jogging stroller as well, but this one is for quick trips and the babies do really well in it like this. When ever we go out using this stroller we surprise SO many people. They don't realize at first there's 2 in there.
This is the picture I took for an update of my hair cut fix. From the one Max gave me. It's a little grown out now. We took this at our ward party.
My other pictures are still on the camera which just happens to be in the car and I'm not about to get dressed and go outside to get it, so I will be posting them soon. This time I promise it will be soon. We are finally on a schedule again so nap time will be my posting time.
I feel bad it took me so long to post but we are finally settled in ..... I hope
Oh yeah, Mike and I spoke in church sunday so now the ward can actually remember who we are :)

DRUM ROLL PLEASE .........

Well it has been quite the month with SO much going on. The most important being

MIKE GRADUATED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thursday May 8th, 2009

He is such a champ. He's been told over and over again that he needs to change his degree, that with working full time and having 4 kids and with everything else that he does he won't succeed and he needs to not go to Medical School and get his degree in something else. Well he is proving all those DEAD WRONG. He has always wanted to be a Doctor and we are doing WHATEVER it takes for him to acheive his dream. I am SO proud of him and he thinks nothing of it ( sillyMike ) he says "well I am done for summer" and "this is only a stepping stone " but what a stepping stone!!! CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!
On Memorial Day weekend we are moving. We are going to Saratoga Springs. We have some friends from CEU that just bought a house there and a few months ago told us that they are moving back here from North Dakota and were wondering if we wanted to live in their basement. See our friends husband ( who we also knew at CEU ) still works in ND on the oil rigs and is gone anywhere from 50 - 70 days at a time and she is all alone and hates that fact. So we are moving in at a great rate for rent. I know it may sound wierd but it is a great situation for us as well as them, it's a great way for us to serve our friends. It's a bit of a commute for Mike but there is a charter bus that goes down there directly to the Church Office Bld. because there are so many employee's that live down there.
Max's 1st year in school is comming to an end. He has really grown and gained SO much by going to preschool this year. His teacher Miss Teresa is a wonderful teacher and helped him grow and learn this year.
Rusty and Abbey are starting to sit up together. It's so cute to watch, they will sit there together lokking at each other, playing with each other until they tumble each other over.
This past month Rusty had to go to PCMC ( Primary Childrens ) and have a sedated MRI on his hips. The Dr. noticed at his last visit that he had asymetrical gluteal folds. For those of you that don't understand that, it means his little bum crack isn't perfectly straight. So they wanted to check for hip dysplasia. He was SUCH a CHAMP!!!!! When they put the Iv in he didn't even cry! He only wimpered a little and then he gave a huge grin to the nurse. The results came back and he is totally fine. WHAT A RELIEF !!!
Our next post will be all the pictures we've been needing to post. Graduation, my hair cut, and a few others oh and the new house!
So keep checking back, hopefully it will be soon !!!!!!!

A Week To Remember!!!

We had a really fun experiance house this last week. I had just gotten the kids dressed and was sitting on the floor to do Michaella's hair, Max came up behind me and asked if he could do my hair. I said of course you can and handed hin the brush. Then he asked " Mommy can I cut your hair?" Sure Max I replied. Then I felt a little tugging and pulling, not thinking very much of it I continued to do Michaella's hair. Then I hear " UH OH" I turned around and Max was holding two HUGE hand fulls of my hair and there is a bunch of hair on the ground. The look on Max's face was enough to tell me he really didn't mean to do anything and he was really worried that I was going to freak out at him. I tried so hard not to. Then I had the thought it's only hair and this could be a learning experiance of a life time. So I just took a deep breath and had a good talk with Max. It was my fault anyways, I was the one that left the scissors down in his reach and I did tell him he could cut my hair. It was really funny actually. He took two really big chunks out of the back and it had to be cut really short. I kind of like it actually, it really doesn't need a lot of maintance, it's really easy to do and different. Mike thinks it looks cute, but he likes me with longer hair more. I think I'll keep it like this for a little while just because it works well considering I really don't take the time to do my hair. Most of the time I just put it in a pony tail - it's a really nice change. I would post a picture but I haven't had one taken yet and my hair isn't done yet so that will have to wait. I know I always say that, but this time I really mean it.

For my April Fools joke this year I had a really hard time deciding what to do. The only thing I could come up with was to tell everyone we were pregnant. I figured most people would believe it considering how close the kids are already. I had so many people congratulate us tell us they were excited for us. But when we told everybody it was only a joke, I had 25 people telling us we were crazy and they were totally shocked. Nobody even realized it was a joke. It was kind of fun, but on the other hand I get really sick of people saying that we are crazy because they wouldn't be able to handle the kids so close and more no less. I really wish I could say just because you couldn't handle it doesn't mean we can't. we have actually started to think it's kind of funny to see how many comments we get saying "Wow, you sure are busy" or " you really have your hands full", "You've got the whole clan together today" we are trying to change our attitudes and remember people will always have their comments on how we live our lives, but they are ours to live and choose how to live them.
Ok so there was my rampage - now I'm done.

General Conference was great what little of it we were able to hear, luckly we can read everything later. I really love conference time, because we are able to go to church in our PJ's in our living room. I'm just glad that in October Max will be able to watch more of it with us and actually have the patience and attention span to pay attention and play little games with it.
Like Mike's dad always says,
The Church is TRUE and Don't do bad stuff!

I wanted to take a quick second and make a shout out to someone.
This past week we were visited by St. Patrick who found the leprechauns pot of gold and left it on our front door step, we have ABSOLUTELY no idea who it is or if they will ever read this, but thank you vary much.
Today Michaella, Abbey and Rusty had their Dr. Appts
Michaella's stats:
wt. 24.2 lbs. 25th %
ht. 34.5 in. 50th%
hc. 46 cm 25th %
meaning : tall, skinny and in perfect health

Abbey's stats:
wt. 14.3 lbs. 25th%
ht. 24.5 in. 10th%
hc. 41cm. 25%
meaning : on the shorter side, just like her mommy

Rusty's stats:
wt. 14.5lbs. 3rd%
ht. 25 in. 10th%
hc 41 cm. 10th%
meaning : Rusty is officially bigger than siser (that's how we say it here, it's not a typo)
but he is our little bean. I do have to get an ultrasound of his hips because he has asymmetric folds ( the folds in his thighs and his butt crack don't line up evenly) they just want to check for hip dysplasia. The Dr. said that if there are any problems we did catch it early enough we can fix it with no problems at all. Good news! So we'll see, I'll keep ya posted.

Tonight I made another milestone ...... I BATHED BOTH THE TWINS TOGETHER BY MYSELF !!!!!!! Yeah for me, I haven't done this yet just because I was nervous, but everything went well.

BIG NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found somebody whom I am ABSOLUTELY in love with to do my hair :)
It's Mike's cousin that did such a great job. I went to another place ( that I have never done before - I've stayed with the same person for ever ( and now is to busy to see me ) and I don't trust people to do my hair) and that place didn't do it right so a week later I went back to have them fix it and they messed it up again GRRRRR. I really don't have the time to mess with this crap from stupid incompetent people. So I was just going to deal with it, but I saw her again a few days ago and she said she'd help me and ...... SHE FIXED IT !!!!! I think it looks great and it feels great I'M SOLD !!!!!!!! If anybody needs a great stylist for a great price CALL ME!!
Seriously, I am so excited and relieved AAAAAHHHHHHH

Other than that everything is the same here, I can't wait for spring so we can go play outside with the kids. I LOVE BEING A MOM!!!!!

Miss Michaella Mae Wynder

On March 6, 2007 at 11:44 am weighing in at 7lb. 12 oz. our beautiful little Michaella Mae Wynder joined our anticipating family ( considering she was only 6 days late!)
The day we went in for the ultrasound was such a great day. I was dressed in all pink, when found out I was pregnant I bought Mike a pink tie. I really wanted a girl once I found out I was getting a girl I was SO excited. I was finally getting my Michaella. I have always loved that name and I couldn't wait to have her here. She was such a wonderful addition to our family.
And now our little girl is just that a growing girl. She is the sweetest, caring and most compaspasionate sister. When ever anybody cries she is the first to run to help or see what she can do to help make them feel better and give binkies.

We our SO greatful to our Heavenly Father for intrusting his most precious to Mike and I to raise and teach.

A little about Michaella: She love to read, and color, she love when her hair is done pretty and loves to hear her church shoes making "click click" noises like mommy's shoes. She loves to swing and play outside. She is our little sweetheart.
I never could have imagined how much fun I would have being a mom.

Michaella is a very special addition to our family! She is our little mommy.
Michaella you are very special to Mommy and Daddy! You have a very soft swwet voice and the cutest, sweetest disposition. WE LOVE YOU !!!!!

As a side note we are having some difficulties with our computer right now but I will post pictures for Michaella soon.

MILESTONES !!!

Well, here we are March 1st. 2 years ago today was Michaella's due date, and now look at us a family of 4. This weekend we have hit some substancial milestones in our family. A little bit of history first though : Max and Michaella started sleeping through the night at 2 weeks ( and in their own rooms) due to the help of a book BABYWISE by Gary Ezzo. I HIGHLY SUGGEST !!!!!!! ok off my rampage. The babies turned 6 months old yesterday - Can you believe it I sure can't.

It all started Friday night ( well long before that, but to keep it kind of short we'll start it then.) Abbey and Rusty slept in their own cribs in Max and Michealla's rooms. Max and michaella were extatic that they were now going to being sharing rooms. Abbey is such a little squirmer that she would hit her head on the wall and cry and wake Rusty up and that would just cause a night full of problems. Up until now the babies were sleeping in our room - we got a banquet table and put it between our bed and the wall and put the crib mattress on it. So that's where they were sleeping. So back to Friday night Mike and I had a little chat with M&M and told them that they were going to start sharring rooms now and Rusty and Abbey were going to wake up and when they do we all M&M need to do is turn over and fall back asleep. We talked about this for quite a while untilthey really understood it. That night the babies did wake up a few times and M&M did exactly what they were tought to do, turn over and go back to sleep. Last night ( Saturday night) we put the babies to bed at 10ish and they SLEPT ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!! They haden't done that for about 3 months because they were sick. Now they are all better, happy and sleeping much better. WHAT A RELIEF

The other milestone we are having is Abbey is sitting up all by herself, Rusty isn't there just yet but he is awefully close. I will have to get a picture and post it this week.

Tonight ( sunday ) we took a drive and saw the new Draper Temple and we had a wonderful time. We decided to go on a Sunday evenibg because on weekdays is the open house and traffic is crazy. We listened to the primary songs as we drove and it melted my heart to hear Max and Michaella singing I am a Child of God. And they both really were singing the words. I felt the spirit today stronger than i had felt in a long time most of that being that I was able to go to church and then being able to see the temple. We are truely blessed to live where we do. As we were sitting at the Temple we were looking out and we could see the Jordan River Temple and the entire valley and to think what it looked like when Brigham Young arrived - can you just imagine. I sure can't! I just want to say how blessed I am to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love my my Heavenly Father and I am very greatful for everything He has blessed me with, expecially my wonderful sweetheart Mike and my children. I am so blessed to have all 4 healthy and here with me, they teach me so much everyday. I can't wait for our family to grow ( and yes we do want to more ) and to be able to teach them the gospel and about our Heavenly Father.

Family Pictures

Again yesterday I had to take the babies into the doctors, they are doing a bit better even though we only got 3 hours of sleep last night. But who's counting? Just out of curiosity sake I weighed both of them and I am elated and shocked. Abbey now weighs 14 Check Spellinglbs 6oz and Rusty weighs 14 lb. 7.5 oz can you believe it? He passed her up, don't get me wrong that;s the way it is suppose to be but man am I excited especially how concerned I was that breastfeeding just wouldn't be enough. WHAT A RELIEF !!!

January 16th we had our family and blessing pictures taken and here they are.
Sorry they aren't the best quality I had to scan them into the computer - stupid copy right laws. I mean come on help the little guy out a bit.

And there are my cute as buttons babies. and they are getting bigger everyday.
I am SO blessed that my dreams have come true and the Lord has entrusted Mike and I to take care of his most prised posessions. I just can't believe how fast time flies by. It seems like it was just yesterday I found out I was pregnant with Max and now he's 3.

Still Here

Well it's been a long time since I've posted (obviously). We have had one of those months. We had family pictures taken. I'll try to get those on here, but I'm not sure exactly how without breaking copyright laws (stupid in my opinion).
Just after my last post is when things began to fall apart. Everybody in the house got sick I got it twice one right after the other, just as I was getting over it KABAM I got it again. Max and Michaella got it but it wasn't so bad for them. The bad cases were the babies, Abbey got it the worst and is still not totally over it we took her to the Doctors to be tested for RSV thank heavens it came back negative, but we were able to take her up to Primary Childrens to have my mom suction her ( just as they would if she were addmitted) . The only down fall about that is my parents were in HAwaii for two weeks - bummer for them I know - Oh well they deserve it.
Anywhoo, so everybody was sick and now we are all starting to get better and just trying to find things to do to pass the winter time away. Max and Michaella are going stir crazy understandably so. Michaella's new favorite thing is to lay on her tummy under the computer desk and color on anything and everything. I swear girls just love to do things like that, Max doesn't care about that all to much. Thanks to our wonderful new Primary president (we had such a great chat) has really helped me to learn and know about how boys are so different and how to help Max. She suggested some books and I'm getting them from the library so I'll let ya klnow how they are. Max will play with his cars and plains for hours - he just loves them. They both have such a wonderful imagination and that just makes me so thankful that they have each other to play with. I will try to take some pictures of them, it's so cute. Abbey and Rusty are getting better slowly but surely. When we took Abbey to the Doctors I weighed her and she is already a whopping 14 pounds even. I didn't weigh Rusty but he's not far behind. Today my mom and I are going to be making our yearly sugar cookies and I'm thinking it's going to be the first time I'll let Max make his own, I'll give him a ball of dough and we'll see what happens. He's gotten really good at cleaning up his messes - to a certain degree - He really likes to help me clean. Maybe we can even go sledding this weekend and get some cute pictures.
I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted, but no I think I'm back on tract.

Short and Sweet

This week was a crazy one. We took Max and Michaella to the eye Doc. to get their eyes examined. All is ok there but, the appointment toook 2 hours MAN that was hard. At least it was at Primary's so they had all different kinds of toys and movies so that made it a lot esier. Then on Wednesday I took Abbey and Rusty for their 4 month well child appointments.

Abbey weighs 12 lb. 12.5 oz
Rusty wieghs 12lb. 7.5 oz.
The babies are getting so big. We all have a cold right now and resulting nobody is getting any sleep.

Mike starts school again on Monday. IT'S THE LAST SEMESTER !!!!!! Mike still has to take Chemestry, Physics and their labs, but he has to graduate first or he'll excede the credits for graduation and get smacked with HUGE fines and he won't be able to graduate. So we will deal with those later. He wan't to take those just before the MCAT exam so they will be fresh in his mind.

My parents are leaving for Hawaii for 2 weeks again this comming saturday for the 3rd time. They deserve it.

There is something I'd like to say that I am very excited about....
Just about 10 minutes ago I regestered my brother for INSTITUTE !!! I am very excited about this. If any of you kow my brother he isn't very strong in the church at this time in his life. He's gone through a very hard time the last few years. He has started to go to church again. He went to the student ward and a member of the bishop bric ( whp happened to be in my parents ward) told him that he couldn't go because that wasn't the right ward for his boundries. I COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!!! It was the 3rd time Mark has gone to church in about 2 years. I was SO mad. I'm really excited for him. He needs to make friends who are LDS and who re his same age.

I'll keep ya posted on how everything goes.

Welcome 2009

Well it is already January 4, 2009. And I haven't blogged nearly as much as I would like. I am trying to blog more... really I am.
Christmas was wonderful for us. For the first time we had Christmas with just our little family. Christmas Eve we went to Mike's parents for dinner and gift exchange. Christmas morning we stayed home and opened our gifts and stockings from Santa and each other. It went by WAY to fast. This is the first year Max REALLY understood Santa. It was completely amazing to see the true beauty of the innocence of a child not only a child, but your own. Michaella didn't really understand, but we did see Santa on the 22nd and We said that santa will be comming to our house while we are asleep, and I think she may have caught on. We tried to teach the kids the true meaning of Christmas, but as young as they are we did our best. The main points we tried to enforce were: That we are celebrating the birth of Jesus that Santa represents the 3 kigs that brought gifts to Jesus and it is more important to give than recieve. Try to get an 3 and almost 2 year old to understant that one. Although Max was more excited to help Michaella, Abbey and Rusty open their gifts and play with them. I couldn't say enough about how wonderful our Christmas REALLY was. That afternoon we went to my parents house and had brunch and opened gifts there as well. Max asked if Santa had come there too because they got spoiled ROTTEN by my brother.

For New Years we went to some friends house and had a party. It was HUGE the kids actually made it until midnight ... in fact they made it until 3 am not by any choice unto their parents. They had so much fun playing that it took until 3 to get them settled down enough to where they would stay asleep. We had a blast, it was really nice to enjoy some adult company.

For our New Years Resolutions:
Every year Mike and bring in the new year together, kiss (of course) and make a tost to each other when we are home and everyone is settled in. This year just as all the previous we tost to Health, Wealth ( in our family and friends) and I think in the past we said posterity instead of prosperity. This year we made that correction and we are hoping to wait until at least next june (2010 ) to get pregnant. But we aren't crossing our fingers so don't you either. We also tosted for the first time to change. This year we are expecting a lot of new change. In the years before we haven't had much change except for the kids of course. But this year we are expecting a lot more. Mike will be graduating in May with his BS in Health Promotion and Educationn. Max Will turn 4, Michaella will be 2 in March, Abbey and Rusty will be 1. Wow I can't even believe i am saying that.

Another First for us happened today... MY BABY BOY MAX WENT TO PRIMARY FOR THE 1ST TIME!!!!!!! And i am home sick with sick babies and missed it. He did really well, we have been talking about this day for 2 weeks and really pumped up the energy yesterday. He was very concerned about what would happen to Michaella. We assured him that she would be in nursery playing with her friends and he can pick her up after primary was over.

We are wishing everyone a Health, Wealthy and Wise new year!!!
